Bracknell is a large thriving town which was designated as a new town in 1948 after the second world war.
The area has been under continual expansion especially new housing,
Binfield and Warfield were built within the last 20 years and Bracknell now has two new developments, Jennetts Park and The Parks.
The town centre built in the 60’s has been earmarked for re-generation but some plans have been shelved due to the recession however a brand new waitrose was built in 2011, and work is to start on a new complex incorporating a cinema and restaurants, a new police station, a bus station and 1000 new homes.
The town has two railway stations and there is easy access to the M3 & M4 motorway via the A329(M)
The area is ideal for families as the town has a large leisure centre, + the coral reef water park, and for golf lovers the Downside Golf Club has excellent facilities, also the John Nike Leasuresport Complex is amazing which incorporates a dry ski slope and ice ring.
The town has also been the setting of many TV shows and films the most famous of which being Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone which was filmed in the Martins Heron part of Bracknell.
The area does however suffer from limescale and Kevin Goody (UK Water Softeners) has been looking after the residents of Bracknell for over 19 years and has over 4500 customers locally.
He recommends the TwinTec S3 Water Softener (manufactured by Harvey Water Softeners (est 35 years) unlike other softeners the TwinTec S3 is twin-cylinder, non electric, its small and has block salt, (so no heavy 25kg bags of salt to hump around)
